Ichiban
Well, this trip represented many firsts. First time I've flown overseas First time I've gone to Japan First time I've paid $32.00 for 1/2 a salad and 2 pieces of tempura ( [Gong!] ) | | Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 | | 9:58 pm |
I'm baaaaaaaaack!
Actually, wait. No I'm not... I'm off to Japan tomorrow for the weekend. Long story, I'll hopefully fill you in when I get back, providing I'm in enough requisite pieces. -Dave | | Monday, August 13th, 2007 | | 1:51 pm |

The experiment has ended...
The exp-hair-iment has officially ended, and we now return you to your regularly scheduled chrome dome. x_h00ine, you may now stop cowering in the closet in fear. | | Wednesday, May 9th, 2007 | | 5:25 pm |

Nappy Hew Year!
Well, I've managed to stumble out of the cave I've been hiding in during the month of Christmas and Christmas bitching, eyes blinking rapidly against the light, to give you this update. ( All Carolers to be Shot on Sight ) | | Friday, November 24th, 2006 | | 11:57 pm |
It's that time of the year again!
No, not camping out for badassed Black Friday deals. That's sickrubik's thing, and I'm greatly appreciative that he takes proxy orders. I really wanted to buy a couple big ticket items, but with Seattle in January and unfinished home improvement projects, I erred to the side of discretion. Besides, it's "want" stuff instead of "need". Also, make things easier on the poor schmucks in your life who are trying to shop to find something for you for Christmas. I recommend all people cease personal purchases until after Christmas (everyday things notwithstanding). Every time I buy someone something that they end up saying 'Oh, I just picked one of these up last week!' deserves to be beaten unconscious with their present. I also got something on Saturday that I haven't had in the year 2000. A haircut. Well, not really a haircut, more of maintenance with clippers by a professional. I'm letting it grow back until it reaches a styleable length. At which point I'll have satisfied my curiousity, and it will most likely get shaved off again. Providing I dont get frustrated at having to deal with hair again and shave it off before then... | | Friday, November 17th, 2006 | | 9:40 am |
Looks like Ugly Kid Joe was right...
I haven't updated in a couple weeks because, well, nothing new and/or exciting has happened recently. bigrobcci finally relented and joined the LJ community. Welcome aboard, chap! And, thanks to jhaenara, I found out what Tarot card I am like.
You are The DevilMateriality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition. Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it. What Tarot Card are You? Take the Test to Find Out. Looks like I am the Goddamned Devil, afterall... | | Monday, October 23rd, 2006 | | 2:54 pm |

The New Hotness!
It was becoming time again to trade in the Highlander for a new lease on things. Managed to stumble across a good special, and picked up a new ride. http://pics.livejournal.com/kingsurlydave/pic/0000tf5c/g1Behold, a brand new 2006 Toyota 4-Runner. I've wanted one of these for a long, long time... And, no, brother Dan, it's not a 4x4. I'm not taking my preciousness out to the sand dunes or a rocky mountaintop. That's what your Tahoe is for. | | Tuesday, October 17th, 2006 | | 9:27 am |
Zomg Birthday!
Special birthday shout-out to my homey meanbuddha. It is still unknown whether this is the actual day of his birth, or the anniversary of when he swam to America. Either way, best of wishes! | | Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006 | | 4:47 pm |
